Homeschooling While Running an Art Business

EPISODE 84

The Coronavirus conversation continues. Last week was a short one as, to be honest, we were in a bit of a shock with everything that was going on. Since then, we’ve had a bit of time to calm down and gather our thoughts. I have also stopped thinking that I have every symptom, so that’s a relief!

With our kids now undertaking their schooling at home, we’ve had to make some big changes. Join us as we chat about the routines and rhythms we have put in place for our family and art business. Things like how we are dividing up responsibilities, simplifying our business and making sure that we get out and exercise every day.

We hope you enjoy the episode, and don’t forget to let us know what topics you would like to hear about over the next few weeks.

A few things you will hear about in this episode:

  • Our new daily schedule and how Richie and I are sharing the load.

  • Building exercise and daily chores into our family routines.

  • Simplifying and looking at ways to be more efficient in our business.

  • Slowing down and returning to a more personal creative practice.

  • Acknowledging the good things to come out of this situation.
