Day 3: Mark Making

Today’s creative task is to explore a new type of mark or pattern. You might like to experiment with alternative tools or materials, or simply try making marks in a way you don’t usually use.

This is a playful exercise for loosening up and stepping a little outside your comfort zone. When you’re finished, take a moment to notice any marks or patterns you’d like to explore further. If it feels right, you can also add a few of these marks to the backgrounds you created on Day 2.
